The Context

The Slow Touring Pilot Project was designed to explore alternatives to traditional touring models, prioritizing sustainability, artist wellbeing, and regional collaboration. The project involved interviews with artists and stakeholders, conducted by the project’s founder and manager Ceilidh Wood.

My Role

My primary contribution was:

  • Designing a simple, approachable logo for the pilot

  • Editing interview footage into clear, engaging video pieces that could be shared publicly

  • Sharing the content widely (via IG reels and newsletter)

  • Preparing branded promotional materials for socials and annual report

The goal of the edits was clarity, using editing to enhance the storytelling and allow participants’ experiences to come through.

The Approach

Working from recorded interviews, I focused on tight, respectful edits that preserved the speaker’s voice and pacing that supported reflection. The branding was designed to be intentionally “lightweight” — friendly, non-institutional, and appropriate for a pilot-stage initiative.
