I have 10+ years of professional design experience in branding, communication, and product. A keen independence and creative drive has resulted in a diverse portfolio and a big ol’ bag of tricks when it comes to skills useful to starting a business.

In 2014 I co-founded a design agency. In addition to branding local businesses, prominent client work included data visualization for Northstar Research Partners (including TD Bank’s Insights department) and pitch decks for start-ups incubated by the University of Guelph’s Centre for Business and Student Enterprise (CBaSE). The work called for a clear understanding of the data, brand, and strategy in order to tell a compelling story for executives and potential investors.

Since 2020 I’ve been using these varied skills as a designer and project manager to prototype social enterprises designed to enhance democracy. Projects include a membership organization making life more affordable for moms, a volunteer program for high school students to make bring their communities together through conversation, and digital tools to make political campaigning easier. I led small teams to take ideas from 0 to 60, building prototypes and testing them for Product Market Fit. Read more about this work here.

I’ve had a life-long relationship with art and music, which often overlaps with my work as an entrepreneur.
